Membership is open to everyone! UW staff, students and faculty are especially encouraged.

Applying for membership is easy ...

Fill out a Toastmasters application form. http://www.toastmasters.org/fupload/media/400-MembershipApp.pdf
Dues are also a part of membership. If you are a member of FM, the division will cover your dues. Otherwise, you will need to cover your dues. (IF your UW unit will cover your dues, please talk with the VP-Finance about how to accomplish this.)
- New Membership Fee: $20.00
- Semi Annual Dues (prorated based on month joined): $27.00
- Club Dues: $5.00
- Total at joining: $52.00
Our Club VP-Membership will ensure that your membership application and dues are sent to Toastmasters International Headquarters (TMI-HQ).
Shortly after you will recieve both the Competent Communicator and Competent Leadership Manuals and your New Membership Kit.

Maintaining your membership is just as easy ...

Participation in routine club meetings is necessary to meet your personal improvement.
Work with the VP-Education to ensure you get scheduled for Project Speeches, routine roles and get practice in the various meeting roles.
Semi-annual dues (currently $27.00 (TMI-HQ) and $5.00 (HTM)) are paid every April and October.
Upon achieving you CC and/or CL designation, work on your Advanced Manuals (of which you get 2 FREE upon completion of the Basic Competent Communicator Manual).
